Want to take a closer look at Scripture? Have some tough questions you want answered? Have you been craving some more intimate times worshiping the LORD? Join us on Sunday afternoons as we try to mine some of the riches of God's Word and praise the God of all creation and our Savior Jesus Christ!

What are we studying?
We have been doing a study in response to the question, "Why does my church call itself 'Free Lutheran' and how is that different from anything else?" We will be looking at the foundational teachings of the Free Lutheran church that distinguish it from other faiths and denominations and looking at the history and structure of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations. Some of the books we will be using will be: Handling the Word of Truth by John T. Pless, Spirituality of the Cross by Gene Edward Veith, and Bondage of the Will by Martin Luther. These are books we encourage the Bible Study members to purchase as we go through them as a group. Other books will be referenced but it is not necessary for the members to purchase them. The Bible will be our main text and is our source for truth, guidance and correction and all other materials will be measured against it to determine whether they are in agreement.

Young Adult Sunday School Class!

Sunday mornings from 9:00-10:00am at Good Shepherd starting in September

For Post High Schoolers, single adults, young families, newlyweds, college students and anyone else that is too old for youth group and too young to be a grown up! Come and get plugged in with a group of people that are at a similar place in life, with similar questions, struggles, interests and needs. We will be studying God's Word and using it to give us direction when facing tough decisions, finding hope when all seems lost, and receiving peace when we feel overwhelmed with fear, stress and doubt. I hope to see you there!
